Not the most exciting of accessories, a pair of wicket stops came with each box set, flat era and 00.
The backstops were sold separately in the flat era as Item 8. They were mostly green flexible thin plastic, but clear varieties can occasionally be found.
After the switch to 00 scale they could also be bought separately as set TC-E. But did anyone ever do that though? Certainly not enough, as the item was one of the first to be discontinued when the range began to shrink in 1977.
