Joining the range in 1968/9 season, you could buy a pair as a boxed accessory, and they also featured in the Test Match Edition. Like the scoreboards, the packaging was updated from a quite small box and lid originally to a larger box with the batsman illustration in the 70s.
Personally I think one each end isn’t enough and you really needed four screens to get that authentic first-class ground feel.
